A special silicone oil-impregnated blue O-ring is used in this product. For maintenance of this blue O-ring, use Sea & Sea silicone grease in a tube with BLUE cap and lettering. Never use Sea & Sea silicone grease in a tube with a BLACK cap or other manufacturers' brands. Incompatible silicone grease will cause the O-ring to lose its waterproofing ability. If you have applied incompatible grease on a blue O-ring, the O-ring must be replaced.

A smaller Aperture opening (higher F-Stop number) allows less light to enter the camera, but yields a higher Depth of Field. With a high F-Stop, the shutter speed needs to be slowed down to allow more light (else a dark photo), but will have more Depth of Field in focus.

Notification to Owners of Fujifilm FinePix Z10fd
As indicated in the instructions originally provided with your camera packaging, proper handling of Lithium-ion batteries is very important. The battery must be correctly inserted into the camera slot to ensure proper operation of the camera. If the battery is inserted incorrectly and forced into the slot, there is a potential for the battery to become jammed in the camera. If the battery becomes jammed, please contact the FUJIFILM Repair Centre and we will remove the battery and return it to you free of charge. You should not try to remove the battery by force or by gripping it with any tools such as tweezers or pliers, since this can cause a Lithium-ion battery to overheat or ignite
